Liz J. Abzug Consultant Services President, Liz Abzug has held various senior level positions in federal, state and local governments for 20 years.  In 12 of those years she worked in the administration of New York Governor Cuomo. Liz Abzug served as the Deputy Commissioner of New York State's Human Rights Enforcement Agency, as Vice President of Operations at the New York State Urban Development Corporation, and later the Director of New York State's Empowerment Zone Program. As the Director of New York State's Empowerment Zone Program, Liz Abzug ran programs that assisted small businesses, commercial and industrial companies in developing and expanding their operations in the City and State's most economically distressed communities.
